  Planning a visit with friends to Cambridge we selected Thorn House so we could include days in Ely, St. Ives and surrounding locations. This proved a perfect base for a short drive to each.
  Thorn House is in a lovely quiet village with easy access to the main A14.
  The rooms were spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and all things catered for. The friendly owner, Nicky, cooked a wonderful breakfast with a good selection and a daily special, salmon and poached egg for one.
  A short walk to the village pub, the Three Tons for an evening meal completed each day.
  This accommodation provided us with an very enjoyable stay and we would have no hesitation in returning.
